A rare pair of early 19th Century Grand Tour monuments, with patinated bronze busts of Roman emperors Vespasian and Claudius, mounted on gilt bronze fluted columns in the form of ancient ruins with trailing vines, mounted on Verdi Antico marble bases with concave mouldings and corners. Wonderful crisp quality and condition. Circa 1820.
