Late 17th Century kingwood oyster cabinet on stand.
This rare cabinet has a walnut top with wide cross-banding and an overhang moulding. The oyster-veneered doors and sides feature isometric cross-banding.
The interior has an arrangement of nine drawers with engraved brass handles and a central door with four further drawers behind.
The whole is raised on a 19th Century low stand with scroll supports, on bun feet with shaped stretchers.
This cabinet is a piece of great quality and colour. Circa 1690
